As our Junior Journalist Workshop comes to an end, we’d like to congratulate our young journalists who have gone above and beyond!
During the workshop sessions, students learned about journalisms and prepared for the final big event at the Cardboard Yacht Regatta Day! During the Cardboard Yacht Regatta Day, two-person teams of all ages will test their ingenuity in racing homemade yachts made of corrugated cardboard and duct tape across the Annenberg Community Beach House pool. Our young journalists applied their journalism knowledge to interview event attendees during this day. Through the interviews, we got to see a variety of interesting DIY cardboard yachts with lovely creative design.
